  1. Able to turn off sync for person accounts

    I would like to be able to turn off the auto sync feature for person accounts but leave it on for contacts. We differentiate between the 2 and due to data protection rules we would like to prevent the email sync if the matching email address is found for a person account.

    • Emails were grouped by their email/outlook id#. Our current crm does this do a thread of emails all get automatically grouped in same task.

      Emails are associated with a task or service request and the system doesn’t then create multiple emails on the same subject/task.

      • specify auto sync accounts

        We should be able to specify which accounts auto sync applies to.
        the blocked domain gives an option for kind of "automatically on, but turn it off for specifics)
        This doesn't work for us, due to data protection; the chance of syncing confidential emails is too great.

        We need the default to be off, but then to be able to turn it on for specifics.

          You should be able to save emails to Salesforce as Emails instead of Tasks.

          • when custom attaching emails to Salesforce Opportunities, you could search for the Opp by Opp Number (versus Opp Name only)

            We attach emails to Salesforce a lot, usually of the custom variety, to opportunities.

            For opportunities, this process would be easier if a user could search for the opportunity by opportunity number also. As it stands, they must search by opportunity name.

            Because we have many similar opportunities, the names are similar and this takes more effort. Sometimes to the point of going into Salesforce to locate the particular Opp name because they need to see the details surrounding it, and then coming back to the Cirrus side panel to complete the attachment (which defeats the purpose).

            • There was an "unsubscribe" button for Campaign emails.

              When I send out emails to a group using the Campaigns feature in Cirrus Insight, it would be great if there was a way for the recipient to be able to unsubscribe or opt out and it be recorded in SF so they were eliminated from future outreach.

              • add to salesforce based on who is a recipient of email

                in the mac version, you can click on Cirrus and it allows "quick add" based on people in the email. in Windows it does not (for outlook)

                • Email Sync - Multiple Contacts

                  Users should be able to choose which Contacts a record syncs to via the "Custom" Add to Salesforce feature when sending to multiple recipients. Currently, they can only accept that the email will sync to multiple records (which impacts reporting on daily activities) or choose not to sync entirely.

                  • User-Specific Email Address Blocking

                    Allow specific users to block syncing emails from specific addresses without mandating an org-wide block.
                    For example: a user with a personal or sensitive relationship with a contact in salesforce shouldn't have their emails synced to that person, but other people in the org should still be able to communicate and have their emails logged.

                    • Change Opportunity Contact Role name or disable

                      Opportunity Contact Roles created by Cirrus are listed as "Opportunity Contact." This doesn't make sense for all opportunities. The following functionality would be helpful.

                      1) Ability to designate a different Contact Role type (also in this Idea http://ideas.cirrusinsight.com/forums/121921-general/suggestions/4274594-ability-to-select-the-contact-role-value-when-crea)

                      2) Ability to disable the creation of the Opportunity Contact Roles for all of my users (from the admin level).

                      3) Ability to disable/enable the creation of Opportunity Contact Roles on each record.

                      Use case: Staff sending emails related to an Opportunity are being added as an "Opportunity Contact" contact role. This doesn't make sense in our org.

                        • Allow automatic email logging to be set on an individual or account basis.

                          Not everyone in the org needs every email automatically logged in Salesforce (marketing and biz dev), while some people need all of them logged (sales reps). This feature should be able to be set individually like Calendar Sync.
