We log our emails to a custom Projects object. Currently, when we do a search, we search by our identifiers and get 20+ results but unfortunately, it shows all pending, in progress and completed projects. More than needed and since we are limited to 10 results, its cumbersome. Would love the flexibility to define what fields our search results are driven by.

I like this idea, it would be easier this way. I see that this is currently under review, hope this is implemented.

by project status and the default would be inprogress would be great. https://img.vehiclepad.com/cf0b57a5a2c0d36477c16caf003239ff_30k-mile-2008-porsche-911-turbo-6-speed-bring-a-trailer-2008-porsche-911-turbo_940-636.jpeg
What about a date field for the last three months or last 10 searched for an identifier?
I think being able to search by project status and the default would be inprogress would be great.
For example, having the functionality to filter by record owner or sort by last modified date would help narrow down the search results, especially when the list of results is too long to manually look through.

We need this for other custom objects as well!
Seriously, I'm surprised this isn't already a feature!

When looking for an existing record in SF through cirrus, please include the feature to search for an Opportunity by a Custom field, which is currently unavailable.
